The class focus is on promoting and marketing positive youth development activities, services, and programs. There is a tremendous need to reach, support, guide, engage and develop today’s youth. The objective of this class is to reinforce the importance of marketing and promoting youth development. The class provides an overview of concepts and the importance of marketing high-quality positive youth development programs. Facilitators will create a branding and marketing plan for their respective organization, current, and or future youth development endeavor. Topics include traditional approaches to marketing, the use of technology, social media, and branding.
